Fabric care
To maintain the appearance of your garment and its fabric, please follow the label for care instructions and do not hand-wash items unless stated otherwise on the care label. Due to the high-quality and delicate nature of the yarn used to weave Burberry cashmere scarves and trench coats, items should be professionally dry-cleaned to maintain their original characteristics. Trench coats should also be reproofed following dry-cleaning, in order to maintain their water-repellent qualities.

Reproof
Reproofing is a special treatment that maintains the waterproof characteristics of your trench coat. We recommend in-store reproofing of your trench every 12-18 months, subject to wear and colour, after dry-cleaning or when your coat no longer repels water.
Reproofing services are offered in selected Burberry stores and may be subject to a charge. To find out more about this service, including which materials can be reproofed, please contact us or visit your nearest store.
Repair
We offer a selected range of repair services on handbags, small leather goods and outerwear. Visit your local store to discover the possible repair services available to you for your Burberry items.
Alterations
We offer a complimentary alteration service on full-priced garments, within three months of purchase, in the majority of our stores.
This complimentary service applies to basic alterations only, and all other alterations – including sale items and purchases made more than three months ago – will incur a charge.
